The most common thing that goes wrong on a Zimbabwean building project is not bad workmanship. It is a builder who takes a deposit, does some of it, and stops answering. Here is how we are set up so that cannot happen to you.

The quote is itemised and lists what is excluded. Scope changes are priced and agreed in writing before the work happens.

We talk through what you want to build, look at the stand, and tell you honestly whether your budget and your plan match. If they do not, you hear that now rather than three months in.

A written quote broken down by stage — materials and labour separated, so you can see what you are paying for. What is excluded is written down too. The price does not move unless you change the scope, in writing.

Work runs to an agreed programme with one foreman accountable for it. You get progress updates as photos and video on WhatsApp — the same updates whether you are in Marondera or in Milton Keynes.

Before we call it finished, we walk the site with you and write a snag list together. If you are abroad, we do it on a video call and send the list afterwards.

A large share of what we build is paid for by someone who is not in the country. That is a different job from building for a client who can drive past on a Saturday, and we run it differently.
